Two weeks remain in the high school baseball regular season and Burnet and Marble Falls are neck and neck in the District 24-4A standings. Meanwhile, the Burnet Lady Dawgs are on the verge of adding their fourth district crown this school year, while the Llano Yellow Jackets took another step toward adding Districk 5-3A title No. 5. What a week for the Marble Falls Mustangs. It began with a second place finish at the Division 2 state meet March 24 for Xavier Lopez and ended with a pair of district titles in golf and tennis. And by 10 p.m. March 31, another Marble Falls team was tied for first in district play.
