Burnet softball bounces back from first district loss

The Burnet High School softball team defeated Lago Vista 20-1 April 7 in a game played a day later than scheduled because of rain. The victory came after the Lady Dawgs (1910, 6-1 District 24-4A) lost to Georgetown Gateway 4-3 April 4. The game against Lago Vista ended after three innings. “They all hit the ball well,” head coach Hailey Wooten said.
