Saying the Faith Academy of Marble Falls athletics department experienced a banner year in 2021-22 doesn’t begin to describe the success. The Flames were undefeated in district play en route to titles in football, basketball, baseball and track and field. They repeated as the Class 2A state track and field champions. The Faith Academy of Marble Falls softball team’s season ended in a 26-2 loss to district foe Pflugerville Concordia May 10. The Lady Flames made a change in the lineup when sophomore pitcher Jaedyn Hart was unavailable to play. Hart has thrown the majority of the innings during the season. Faith Academy of Marble Falls senior golfer Libby Ross is returning to the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools state tournament after finishing as the runner-up at the district tournament April 25. Ross shot an 89, one stroke behind the district champion. It’s the third time in four years Ross is headed to state.
