Burnet football takes on Stephenville

Stephenville was the ranked No. 1 in the state until a 63-17 loss to Ruston, La. Oct. 5 to snap a five-game winning streak. Marble Falls football loses to Stephenville

The Marble Falls High School football team lost to Stephenville 63-0 Oct. 18 in District 4-4A Division I play. The Yellowjackets (6-1, 1-0) scored on the first offensive play of the game, a 64-yard scamper by senior running back Sawyer Wilkerson for the 7-0 lead 13 seconds into the contest. That was the first of eight consecutive touchdowns for Stephenville, which didn’t allow a Marble Falls (2-6, 0-2) first down until the second half.
