Burnet boys soccer are on winning streak

The Burnet High School boys soccer team is third in the District 25-4A standings after winning back-to-back matches. The Bulldogs (7-6-1, 6-3-1) defeated Austin Eastside Memorial 3-2 Feb. 17 and Austin Travis 7-0 Feb. 14. Burnet boys soccer leaves no doubt in beating Jarrell

The Burnet High School boys soccer team crushed Jarrell 5-1 Jan. 27 to take possession of second place in District 25-4A. “This was a decisive game in deciding district,” head coach Benjamin Boorman said. Granite FC Elite, a soccer team featuring players who are under the age of 15, won the South Texas Cup championship April 9-10, which advances the squad to the South Texas Cup Finals at the end of the month. Granite FC finished the South Texas Cup with a 3-0 record.
