Llano football looks to add to win column against Marion

The Llano High School football team is traveling to face Marion at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, in another District 5-3A contest. The Yellow Jackets (4-3, 2-1) are approaching this game with precise focus, head coach Matt Green said, with the aim of not allowing the Bulldogs (2-4, 0-2) to gain confidence as they search for their first district win. The Llano High School football team is hosting Universal City Randolph in a contest featuring the only two undefeated teams in District 13-3A Division I. By the end of the game that kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, only one team will leave Llano Stadium still unbeaten. The Llano High School football team crushed Luling 53-13 Sept. 29 to go to 2-0 in District 13-3A Division I. The Jackets (4-2) welcome Universal City Randolph at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, at Llano Stadium. The Llano High School football team overwhelmed San Antonio Cole 37-0 Sept. 22 in the District 13-3A Division I opener for both teams. The Yellow Jackets (3-2, 1-0) now focus their attention on a road trip to Luling (2-3, 0-1)at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29. Llano seized control of the contest quickly, racing to a 14-0 advantage in the opening quarter that ballooned to 24-0 by the half.
