Llano football cruises to win against Luling

The Llano High School football team crushed Luling 53-13 Sept. 29 to go to 2-0 in District 13-3A Division I. The Jackets (4-2) welcome Universal City Randolph at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, at Llano Stadium. The Ro-Hawks (6-0, 2-0) beat Blanco 21-7 Sept. 29 and Marion 21-14 in overtime Sept. 22. “It’s just fun to win,” head coach Matt Green said. “It’s not fun to lose, it’s fun to win. Llano football wins district opener over Cole

The Llano High School football team overwhelmed San Antonio Cole 37-0 Sept. 22 in the District 13-3A Division I opener for both teams. The Yellow Jackets (3-2, 1-0) now focus their attention on a road trip to Luling (2-3, 0-1)at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29. Llano seized control of the contest quickly, racing to a 14-0 advantage in the opening quarter that ballooned to 24-0 by the half.
