Johnson City baseball prepares for more weeks of play

The Johnson City High School baseball team will play Granger for a bi-district championship in a best-of-three series in Lago Vista that begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 4. Johnson City baseball remains in firm control of district race

The Johnson City High School baseball team continues to rule District 28-2A thanks to another sweep. This one came at Junction’s expense with a 9-0 win April 17 and a 23-15 victory April 14. Now the Eagles (10-0) are looking to do the same to Center Point in the final series of the regular season. Next Level boys hoops features Marble Falls, Faith Academy, Johnson City players

The Next Level boys select basketball team was within seconds of a earning one of the program’s biggest wins. Instead a charging call allowed nationally-known Sky High, a squad consisting of players 16 and younger, to escape with a 44-41 win last weekend. The contest was part of the Lace Em Up tournament in Georgetown June 3-5 where Next Level finished with a 2-1 record.
