A pitching change and timely hitting with runners in scoring position helped Georgetown High defeat the Marble Falls High School baseball team 5-4 April 12. “The start was great,” Marble Falls head coach Tyler Porter said of his team. “Our Achilles’ heel is we always seem to give some back. The Marble Falls High School golf teams left their marks in their final District 25-5A tournaments in 2022. Marble Falls is dropping to Class 4A beginning in the 2022-23 academic year. The Mustangs finished third overall by shooting 332-328–660 at Avery Ranch Golf Club in Austin March 29-30. After the first round, Marble Falls was in second place by one stroke in front of Georgetown and behind Leander Rouse. The Marble Falls High School baseball team earned its first win of the District 25-5A season, a 9-8 walk-off victory in the ninth inning against Georgetown East View April 1. A.J.
