Mustangs dominate in all three phases for win over Leander

Bulldogs earn another come-from-behind district win

The Burnet High School baseball team found itself in familiar territory March 18 against Salado. The Bulldogs (6-4-1, 3-0 District 19-4A) lost their 5-3 lead headed into the seventh inning when the Eagles (7-5, 2-1) put three runs on the board for a 6-5 advantage. ‘Gouda’ will play baseball for Coastal Bend College

Marble Falls High School senior Jon “Gouda” Zamarippa has committed to play baseball for Coastal Bend College and will sign his National Letter of Intent in a few weeks. The Marble Falls High School baseball team is displaying plenty of characteristics coaches want to see from athletes: spunk, belief, a never-die attitude, and a willingness to compete until the final out.
