Marble Falls Middle School football goes 2-1 against Burnet

The Marble Falls Middle School football teams went 2-1 against Burnet Oct. 12. A combined B team of seventh- and eighth-graders defeated the Bulldogs 16-14. “We ran the ball the majority of the game,” coach Michael McDowell said. “We made one more play than they did.” Eighth-grader Cade Bresonio scored both touchdowns and both two-point runs. The Burnet High School football team beat Marble Falls 24-0 Oct. 13 in the Battle for Burnet County.
