Burnet team tennis season ends in bi-district round

The Burnet High School team tennis squad lost to Cameron Yoe 7-12 in a bi-district championship of the Class 4A team tennis playoffs Oct. 10 at Georgetown High School. It’s the third consecutive year the two squads have met in the playoffs. The Bulldogs, which entered the playoffs as District 18-4A’s No. 3 team, had all their wins by the Lady Dawgs. The Burnet High School volleyball team defeated Jarrell 25-10, 25-14, 25-19 Oct. 6 in the last match of the first round of District 24-4A play.
