The Faith Academy of Marble Falls football team lost to Pasadena First Baptist 65-20 Aug. 30 in the 2024 season opener. The Warriors (1-0) scored on the game’s opening possession. The Marble Falls High School football team crushed Austin Crockett 56-0 in the season opener for both teams Aug. 30. The Mustangs (1-0) were led to victory by junior quarterback Doak Timmerman, who scored five of the team’s eight touchdowns. “We got great offense and we shut them out,” he said. “Great defense.
