Sawyer is new Faith Academy head volleyball coach

Erin Sawyer is the new volleyball head coach at Faith Academy of Marble Falls. Sawyer spent the last couple of years as the top assistant coach on Adrienne Pabon’s staff. “Coach Sawyer has been coaching here for two years,” athletic director Zakk Revelle said. “We put her at the junior high because we knew how good she was.” Sawyer also coaches the Highland Lakes Aces, a club volleyball team, which demonstrates her ability to coach players of all ages and experiences. Marble Falls athletes are committing themselves to summer workouts

Championships are won in the offseason. That was said by Pat Summit, the legendary University of Tennessee women’s basketball coach, right after the Lady Vols won one of their eight national titles. She commended her players for staying in Knoxville during the summer to work toward their championship. In many ways, that’s what’s happening with athletes at Marble Falls Independent School District.
