Burnet CISD’s Jones announces retirement

After 23 years of service to Burnet Consolidated Independent School District, athletic director Kurt Jones said he is retiring from public education at the end of the 2023-24 school year. “It’s 100 percent my decision,” he said. “My wife and family and I have been talking about it for a little while.
