The Burnet High School softball team defeated Lago Vista 20-1 April 7 in a game played a day later than scheduled because of rain. The victory came after the Lady Dawgs (1910, 6-1 District 24-4A) lost to Georgetown Gateway 4-3 April 4. The Marble Falls High School softball program is hosting a free youth clinic from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at Scearce Softball Filed on the high school campus. “We want to get the youth league involved and let them know the high school program is here for them,” head coach Alex Lozoya said. “And they know they have access to us whenever they want.” He thought the clinic might draw 20 youth.
