Lady Dawgs shut out Lampasas in Battle for U.S. 281

The Burnet High School softball team quickly dispatched of Lampasas on March 8, winning 9-0. Head coach Hailey Wooten noted the Lady Dawgs (15-3) led 3-0 through six innings and then erupted for six runs in the seventh inning. Opening loss doesn’t discourage Faith

The Faith Academy of Marble Falls softball team began the 2022 season with an 18-10 loss to Concordia Christian School on March 7. The Lady Flames (0-1) committed seven errors in the contest. Concordia scored 14 runs in the fifth, sixth, and seventh innings after trailing 7-4 in the fourth. The Burnet High School softball program completed a successful weekend on the diamond in their own tournament March 5. The varsity (14-3) defeated Johnson City 3-2 after losing to The Woodlands College Park 2-1 on Saturday. On Friday, the Lady Dawgs beat Gunter 12-2. Lady Dawgs begin own tourney with 3-0 record

The Burnet High School softball team started its home tournament by going 3-0 on March 3. The varsity defeated Lago Vista 15-3 in the night cap and began the day with a 13-1 win against Wimberley. The junior varsity beat Pflugerville Connally 8-2. “The JV is solid all the way around,” head coach Hailey Wooten said. “I knew they could compete with varsity teams.
