The Burnet High School powerlifting teams took top honors from its own meet Jan. 11. The Lady Dawgs won the girls division, while the Bulldogs finished as the runners-up in the boys division. The Burnet Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees is gearing up for what may be a busier spring than it has ever had before. That’s because three individuals will be occupying offices they did not house during the fall semester: superintendent, director of athletics and school safety, and football head coach.
