The Burnet High School powerlifting teams took top honors from its own meet Jan. 11. The Lady Dawgs won the girls division, while the Bulldogs finished as the runners-up in the boys division. Burnet CISD board president outlines timeline for superintendent, athletic director, football hires

The Burnet Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees is gearing up for what may be a busier spring than it has ever had before. That’s because three individuals will be occupying offices they did not house during the fall semester: superintendent, director of athletics and school safety, and football head coach.
