The Burnet High School girls soccer team defeated Georgetown Gateway 3-0 March 7 to remain undefeated in District 25-4A and capture the district crown for the first time in history. The Burnet High School boys soccer team lost to Lago Vista 8-3 March 7. “This was an important match as it decided third place in District (24-4A),” head coach Benjamin Boorman said. “Lago celebrated (its) senior night and (was) absolutely ready to play from the opening whistle.
