Marble Falls football hosts Friday Night Lights camp

The Marble Falls Independent School District football program is offering several opportunities for youngsters to learn more about the sport. The first is the Friday Night Lights camp for children in Kindergarten-sixth grade May 10 at The Corral at Mustang Stadium. For those starving for some football, Highland Lakes high school programs are offering an appetizer. The Burnet Bulldogs will host their annual 7-on-7 league at 5 p.m. Monday, May 6, 13 and 20, at Bulldog Field. Llano and Marble Falls will participate. Each team will play two games weekly. The divisions are for rising eighth-graders, freshmen, junior varsity and varsity. Marble Falls Youth Football and Cheer is conducting its fall registration now until June 7. The league is for elementary-aged students through the sixth grade.
