Marble Falls High School senior center Lexie Edwards recently committed to Howard Payne University. The 6-foot and 3-inch athlete plans to sign her National Letter of Intent in the spring. “I really like the community and the team,” she said. “It’s a great team and environment. Basketball tourney to benefit African-American Museum

A 3-on-3 basketball tournament is being conducted Saturday, Dec. 16, at Marble Falls High School to benefit the St. Frederick African-American Museum. “We wanted to do something different,” Museum President Bessie Jackson said. “This way we get a chance to involve the whole community in the process of the museum.
