That was the first of eight consecutive touchdowns for Stephenville, which didn’t allow a Marble Falls (2-6, 0-2) first down until the second half.
Meanwhile, the Yellowjackets needed three plays to score their second touchdown that ended when senior quarterback Ryan Gafford found senior receiver Tristian Gentry, a Texas Tech University commit, for a six-yard toss and a 14-0 advantage. The drive had a total of 51 yards.
The quarterback found the receiver for Stephenville’s third touchdown on a two-play drive that covered 55 yards. This one came on a 39-yard pass on a free play when the Mustangs were drawn offsides for a 21-0 lead.

Stephenville used its reserves in the second half, which ended quickly. Senior quarterback Jack Butcher scored the half’s only touchdown on a nine-yard run for the 63-0 lead. The 91-yard drive took 11 plays and seven minutes to finish.
That drive was the result of the Yellowjackets forcing the Mustangs to turn the ball over on downs on the Stephenville nine.
Before that, the Mustangs picked up a first down highlighted by a 49-yard screen to senior receiver Kole Becker from senior quarterback Colton Minor. The drive ended when the pass went incomplete.
