The Marble Falls Independent School District released new policies Aug. 7 for home games at Mustang Stadium during the 2024 season.
- Tickets can be bought online at mfmustangs.org or at the gate using a credit card. No cash will be accepted at the gate.
- Backpacks, duffle bags, luggage, coolers or large bags will not be allowed inside the stadium.
- Fans can bring clear plastic water bottles, reusable water bottles and other outside cups into the stadium, but they must be empty before entering. Fans can refill reusable bottles inside the stadium. Those with medical conditions and with infant children are exempt.
- The strobe LED lighting, which was installed last year, will be used to celebrate plays during contests.
Megan Hamilton, the district’s communication specialist, noted a specific reason for the changes.
“MFISD is always looking to advance safety and security as well as the fan experience,” she said. “These updates support that goal. Being in a safe and celebratory environment is the best way to enjoy a game.”
She noted that organizations that participate in game day activities “will likely not feel any impact from these changes.”
Mustang Stadium is used throughout the school year for football, soccer and track and field events by high school and middle school athletes.
“These policies will be in place for all events at Mustang Stadium,” Hamilton said.
