The Johnson City High School baseball team defeated Kenedy 4-1 in game one of the Class 2A Region IV quarterfinal series May 25. Game two of the best-of-three series is at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 27, at the University of Incarnate Word, 4301 Broadway in San Antonio. The Marble Falls High School boys golf team shot a 320-328–648 during the two-day Class 4A state tournament May 22-23 at The Legends Golf Course in Kingsland. The score was good enough to finish 10th at the tournament.
