Sawyer is new Faith Academy head volleyball coach

Erin Sawyer is the new volleyball head coach at Faith Academy of Marble Falls. The Air-Time Elite girls basketball team finished as the runner-up at the Foreverland II tournament hosted by Premier Basketball June 17-18 in Mansfield. Championships are won in the offseason. That was said by Pat Summit, the legendary University of Tennessee women’s basketball coach, right after the Lady Vols won one of their eight national titles. She commended her players for staying in Knoxville during the summer to work toward their championship. Burnet’s Kade Shaw has ‘surreal’ day at the plate

Burnet High School senior Kade Shaw had a great day at the ballpark playing for the Austin Wings 17-and-under summer select baseball team. On June 9, Shaw went hit three home runs in three plate appearances, and one was a grand slam. He did it against Up Top from Dallas during The Opener tournament.
