Basketball tourney to benefit African-American Museum
A 3-on-3 basketball tournament is being conducted Saturday, Dec. 16, at Marble Falls High School to benefit the St. Frederick African-American Museum. “We wanted to do something different,” Museum President Bessie Jackson said. “This way we get a chance to involve the whole community in the process of the museum. Everyone can take advantage of it.” The event starts at 10 a.m. and has two divisions: middle school and adult. High-school aged athletes will play in the adult division.
