The Burnet High School baseball team annihilated Lampasas 10-2 April 6 to earn the series sweep, the Bulldogs’ first in District 24-4A. The victory keeps Burnet atop of the district standings. “Anytime you can defeat somebody three times is big,” head coach Russell Houston said. The Marble Falls High School baseball team defeated Georgetown Gateway 13-1 April 6 in the third game of the series. With the win, the Mustangs have their first District 24-4A sweep of an opponent. “Good team win tonight,” head coach Tyler Porter said. “Solid on the mound, lock-down defense and the bats poured on some runs.
