The Burnet High School track and field team qualified numerous athletes in various events to the Class 4A Region III meet and some set new personal bests to get there. The Bulldogs and Lady Dawgs each finished fourth in the team standings of the District 19 and 20-4A area track meet April 21. The Faith Academy of Marble Falls baseball team survived its best challenge to its undefeated district record. The Marble Falls High School baseball team defeated Llano 10-3 April 23 in a non-district contest. “It was another defensive game,” Mustangs head coach Tyler Porter said. “It’s hard to play bad baseball when you play good defense. The Marble Falls High School baseball team played its most complete game in a 7-0 win against Leander Glenn April 22.
