Most Texans may know Cedric Griffin as a cornerback for the 2005 national champion Texas Longhorns that defeated the University of Southern California in the Rose Bowl. Another undefeated district championship yields awards

Faith Academy of Marble Falls boys basketball players Brock Davis and Case Coleman were named to the small private school all-state team by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches. The honors are the latest for the duo who led the Flames to another undefeated district season and the second round of the playoffs. “(Their coaches) nominate them, and they get voted on by a separate committee,” head coach Zakk Revelle said. “I nominated those two.
