Lady Dawgs earn another tough district road victory

The Burnet High School girls soccer team’s business-like approach resulted in another big road win March 8. The Lady Dawgs (15-6-3, 11-3 District 18-4A) beat Lampasas 3-0 and put themselves in position to finish second in the district standings if they can beat Salado in the regular season finale on Monday, March 14. MF baseball showing traits for a special season

The Marble Falls High School baseball team is displaying plenty of characteristics coaches want to see from athletes: spunk, belief, a never-die attitude, and a willingness to compete until the final out. Head coach Tyler Porter points to two recent examples to illustrate those traits: come-from-behind wins against Fredericksburg 5-4 March 5 and Johnson City 3-2 March 3.
