Hohmann leaves MFHS for Skidmore-Tynan

Marble Falls High School offensive coordinator Heath Hohmann is the new athletics director and head football coach at Skidmore-Tynan High School in Skidmore, Texas. Hohmann’s appointment was announced March 7, weeks after he interviewed for the job Feb. 22. Flames earn second win in shortened game

The Faith Academy of Marble Falls baseball team earned another run-rule win March 7. The Flames (2-0) beat New Braunfels Christian Academy 13-3 in five innings. After NBCA took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, Faith exploded for seven runs in the second, three in the fourth, and three in the fifth. Senior Case Coleman had 3 RBIs off 2 hits. The Faith Academy of Marble Falls softball team began the 2022 season with an 18-10 loss to Concordia Christian School on March 7. The Lady Flames (0-1) committed seven errors in the contest. Concordia scored 14 runs in the fifth, sixth, and seventh innings after trailing 7-4 in the fourth. On the October weekend Burnet senior swimmer Ryan Behrens visited McMurry University and was offered a scholarship, he committed.
